Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation
Whether it’s a broken hip or knee surgery, our patients receive the appropriate care and the subsequent orthopaedic rehabilitation by a team of physiotherapists in our facilities. Our nurses are constantly trained and updated to make sure that they provide the correct recovery procedures based on the very latest medical practices. We are fully equipped to handle hip and knee replacement, back injuries, arthritis, complex fractures and other orthopaedic issues. Furthermore, within this program, our qualified nursing staff can deal with any postoperative complications or other serious problems like bed sores.
Another group of diseases that are afflicting people and are restricting their functionality are called musculoskeletal disorders. These vary and may involve neck pains, lumbago, arthritis, stiff joints, neuralgia, tendonitis, ligament injuries, muscle and tendon calcifications, muscle contusions, bursitis, and epicondylitis. This group of diseases may also be successfully treated in our physiotherapy.
Neurological Rehabilitation
Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease:
We apply functional recovery techniques to improve the neuromuscular system, the development of normal patterns, muscle re-education and stimulation of muscle activity as well as joint mobilization techniques (Manual Therapy), to restore normal movement.
The aim of rehabilitation & physiotherapy is to improve and – where possible – fully cure patient motor dysfunctions, thus providing patients with their independence, ensuring that their reintegration into their own normal lifestyle goes as smoothly as possible.
